2022 Market Review - Nissan Skyline R32-R34 1989-1999

Not many years ago we watched as a glut of turbo-engined R33 Skylines sent prices plunging. During 2017-19, the money available for two-door GTS-Ts had dropped below $15,000 and some vendors were getting desperate.

Those who chose to keep their cars would now be pleased though because demand for these and the earlier R32 GTS-T have suddenly surged past $20,000 and in some cases exceeded $30,000. R34s were in trouble too but today a good non-turbo GT sedan will cost $20,000 and four-door GT-Ts are above $30,000.

Most impressive is the R34 GT-T two-door: predictably shadowing similar-shaped GTR coupes and headed for $60,000. They are still common in Japan though and new arrivals might flatten values a little.

R32 GTS-T Sedan/Coupe $30,855 (7)

R33T Sedan $23,685 (5)

R33 GTS-T Coupe $27,920 (32)

R34 GT $18,185 (12)

R34 GT-T Sedan $37,490 (8)

R34 GT-T Coupe $55,615 (14)
