The Rootes Group Car Club was established to cater for and promote Rootes Group vehicles

That covers a host of historic British brands, including Humber, Hillman, Singer and Sunbeam, plus the commercial marques Commer and Karrier.

This was once a giant concern based in the UK Midlands. The history of the company dates back to 1913 and it was eventually taken over by Chrysler in the mid to late 1960s.

As you might expect the club can supply vehicle owners with technical information, advice and contacts for parts and servicing. It is also a great means of meeting fellow enthusiasts, which can be invaluable when you are considering buying or restoring a car.

There are a number of events that are run by the club and its associates that are designed to be fun and entertaining and provide an opportunity to meet people, exchange ideas (not always about car-related matters) and generally have a great time!
