Another Aussie car attracting plenty of attention was this one-off 318 V8 4-speed manual CL Valiant ex-cop car. Ordered by the NSW Govt, it went to the Australian Police (aka the Feds), before selling to a private buyer. The body colour/trim colour combo and options specification including laminated windscreen, left-hand exterior mirror, heated rear window, and push button radio also make it unique. It’s sure to get attention at car shows.

Proving you don’t need a king’s ransom to snaffle a classic is this HJ Kingswood wagon. A family wagon of the period with a 202ci six and three-on-the-tree combo this one has powered front discs. Finished in Persian Sands with Gazelle vinyl interior, the front bench seat was flung for a pair of bucket seats. It has the usual nicks and scratches of time with some of the vinyl split but otherwise appears in good nick. It sold with Holden Historical Services certificate verifying its production dates and specifications.

It's nice to see an unmolested Falcon coupe such as this two-owner car. This GS, found in a shed in rural Vic has the Falcon 250ci straight six, three speed auto, disc/drum brakes and steel 12-slotters. Finished in sandstone beige with beige interior it underwent an extensive refurb and sold with it has its original Owner’s Handbook, Service Book, spare keys and some receipts.

Not that long ago you couldn’t give a Moke away. How things have changed. This is the spruced up Californian edition in a bright blue hue and powered by the 1275cc engine. The Moke was designed to cover rough terrain and in military guise tough enough to be parachuted out of a plane. This one has been refurbished with Sunraysia wheels, along with matching front and rear nudge bars.

Just when you thought there couldn’t be any more, another oneowner Shelby Mustang appears. This Wimbledon white with blue stripes car was delivered to its original and current owner by Reynolds Motors in New York. Sporting the 289 V8 with a high riser manifold and a supercharger added in 1968. It won 2015 Best Original at Forest Grove Concours d'Elegance and aside from the blower, retains all its original components right down to the carpets.
