After the Covid enforced hiatus Motorclassica, Australia’s premier motoring concours event, returns to Melbourne’s Royal Exhibition Building October 7-9

The highlight of the four-day event is the Australian International Concours for rare, classic, historic cars and motorcycles. It claims to be the biggest gathering of concours vehicles from around the country and beyond, in the southern hemisphere.

Several anniversaries are on the radar, including 75 years for Ferrari, 60 years for Shelby and 50 years for BMW's M division (see our feature).

New to this year’s event is the Heroes of Speed where several iconic modern supercars will be shown. Attendees will see cars like the Bugatti Veyron along with a host of other exotic makes and models, including the exceptional Lamborghini Miura featured in issue 470 of Unique Cars magazine.

The retail precinct includes automotive memorabilia, and merchandise from many brands, along with traders offering advice and parts needed to tackle a project or complete one. Returning is the popular Marque Park on the museum forecourt, run by car clubs. Here you are likely to trip over something from any era.
