If you can remember back that far, the arrival of the new-look Nissan Zed caused quite a stir. The 2+2 body looked sensational for its day and was accompanied by a billboard campaign showing it in profile, with the caption "sell the kids"!

In a feature on the series, Cliff Chambers wrote: "By early 1990 the radically restyled and substantial Nissan made its way to Australia, with a 166kW, naturally aspirated, 3.0lt V6. Buyers in other markets got to revel in the 208kW twin-turbo version. Examples of the latter of course made their way to Australia as grey imports and are in demand as special-interest cars."

Service knowledge and parts support for them seems pretty good and we reckon the looks have aged well.
