1991 Honda NXS - today's auction tempter
Ground-breaking design
All these years down the track, it's easy to forget just how ground-breaking Honda's NSX really was.
In a retrospective, we noted: "Almost everything on the NSX is model-specific. Development costs were enormous as a result, the body alone requiring huge work in productionising areas such as spot welding, corrosion, and repairability. Murray described the suspension of the NSX as "a groundbreaking use of aluminium".
"Setting new standards for visibility, reliability and comfort in the supercar class, it’s easy to overlook quite how potent the NSX was."
This example is a recent import from Japan and ciomes with service records that include a transmission replacement.
Showing a little over 133,300km on the odo, it's up for auction with Collecting Cars.
