Lotus Esprit S2 1978 project car. Work undertaken so far: Chassis: - Chassis removed from body, fully stripped. Chassis acid dipped by Redi Strip NSW. - Rust repaired and sections replaced by Lowe Fabrications. - Chassis painted with KBS Chassis coater. - All chassis grommets replaced. Body: - Body stripped and repainted in original Lotus Monaco White by Andy's Restorations, Sydney - $25 000 job. - Underside of body shielded with Dynamat Hoodliner. - New aluminium fuel tanks and header tank from UK craftsman Axminster Specialist Panels. - New Rimmer Bros rear lamps and assemblies. - Titanium hardware throughout. Thousands spent on this alone. - AP Racing Front Brake upgrade ready for fitting - 1492GBP. - Every bracket, shim, bolt etc refitted has been either cadmium or zinc plated, anodised or repainted, or replaced with titanium.
