Muscle Car Warehouse bring to the market this Ford Falcon XY Ute. The Ute was restored approximately four years ago in its original colour of Yellow Ochre. When restored all the GS extras were fitted such as side stripes and wheel caps. Other features include a GT front spoiler, Shaker, bonnet stripes, bonnet locks and driving lights. The interior also received the GT trim when restored while remaining with the original saddle colour. Seats, door trims, steering wheel and dash were all upgraded to GT specs. An aftermarket stereo has been installed in the glovebox so that the original look is kept. The Ute was originally ordered with a 302 Windsor and a four speed Top Loader transmission. Now running a 351 Windsor with a mild cam, Edelbrock intake and extractors. The Top Loader gearbox remains, and the diff is a 9 with a 3.5 ratio. This Ute presents beautifully and are hard to come by in this condition particularly factory V8 cars like this one. Muscle Car Warehouse now offer for sale this beautiful Ford XB Falcon 500. Commissioned by the Victorian Police force when it was used as an unmarked highway patrol car until 1977. It was originally ordered with a 351 T code engine (identical to the Falcon GT), FMX automatic transmission and a 9 diff. Further to this this car was also factory fitted with power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, tramp rods and a dual exhaust system. This car is basically a Falcon GT in a Falcon 500 body! Finished in the subtle colour of Skyview Blue and saddle trim and believed to be one of only six cars ordered in the colour with the T code engine. Other notable features are a GT bonnet and driving lights. Currently running 12 slot wheels and GS caps but with the original steel rims and dog dish hubcaps included. Still running the matching number engine with original components such as Motorcraft coil, engine lift hooks, the dog tag on the radiator support and original four-barrel Motorcraft carbie still with thecar. The engine is made up from a Dart block, Scat crank and rods, JE pistons, custom roller cam, AFR 210cc heads, Victor Jnr intake and lastly a 925cfm Pro Systems carbie. Although it appears to be a standard looking car, extensive modifications have been carried out on the engine which equate to an astonishing 634 horsepower which puts this FGX XR8 in a league of its own and unlike any other example available on the market today. Being the lowest production bult HSV and even compared to by some to the Ford Falcon XY GTHO. Owned personally up until 2018 by the DÁlberto family, owners of the reputable DAlberto Holden dealership in Echuca, Victoria. Initially HSV planned to produce 500 examples, but it is commonly known that only 302 examples were produced. This particular car wears build number 333 as this was the build number of the other three Group A Commodores in the DAbreo collection so therefore HSV honoured this and still allocated this build number to this car. With just over 1800km this car could almost be described as a brand-new car and is totally untouched from front to back.
