BUILD # 071/240 The GTS Maloos street presence is clearly identifiable through the adoption of GTSs unique front fascia design that delivers both an aggressive stance and an extensive air-intake surface area to deliver the required engine cooling. The GTS Maloo is available with either a TR6060 (MG9 spec) 6-speed manual transmission with oil cooler and twin plate clutch, or an optional 6L90E 6-speed heavy duty automatic transmission with oil cooler. Complementing the LSA powertrain is HSVs premium braking package lightweight AP radical forged 6-piston brake calipers with 390mm (front) and 372mm (rear) 2-piece rotors. In addition, and what is believed to be a global first for a utility, the GTS Maloo is fitted with Torque Vectoring. Currently only fitted to a few exclusive global marques and HSVs GEN-F GTS, Torque Vectoring helps reduce understeer by generating a rotational moment in the rear axle when the vehicle is under power. The vehicles Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system detects the understeer event, applies braking to the inside rear wheel and transfers torque to the outside rear wheel. 1996 HSV VS GTS-R Genuine HSV VS GTS-R Commodore Build # 11 of only 85 ever built! Showing only 48,477 kms from new In its Original XU3 Yellah paintwork, with the all correct GTS-R bodykit and wing This HSV Classic is matching numbers with its 5.7L V8 engine coupled to a 6 speed manual transmission Original 17×7 Charcoal tri-spoke wheels. Comes complete with its Original log books and HSV compendium. This 1996 Holden HSV GTS-R is number 11 of only 85 ever built making these cars one of the lowest production HSVs ever made. The GTS-R was the flagship model of the late 90s and certainly one of the most polarising cars ever to leave HSV. All GTS-Rs were finished in the signature XU3 Yellah paintwork, featured a carbon fibre body kit with over the top Group A race-inspired rear wing and were visually identical with a numbered build plate mounted on the dash. The body of the car is well presented and wears the majority of its original paintwork. GTS-R bodykit includes carbon fibre lower grille intake, side skirt trims, rear décor panel, rear bumper highlight and wheel centre caps. The massive rear wing is an adaption of the design used in the HRT Group A race cars of the time and is adjustable in angle with carbon fibre centre bar and end plates. GTS-R decals down the side let people know exactly what it is. While this car has the HRT optimised sticker on the side it is NOT one of the 12 that received that option. The interior is all completely factory in presentation and in good condition as you would expect of a car that has travelled less than 50,000kms. The seats are well bolstered and both front and rear seats and door trim inserts wear the unique yellow GTS-R cloth insert trim. The centre console, gear knob and steering wheel are all trimmed with contrasting yellow stitching- as per factory specification. Under the bonnet is the factory, matching numbers 5.7L fuel injected V8 engine rated at 215kw. The engine is paired to the original Tremec T56, six speed manual transmission and power is fed to the rear wheels via the Hydratrak differential. Independent suspension all round as standard makes sure that the GTS-R can handle like you would expect for an Australian built Performance sedan. The brakes are HSV 2 piston calipers up front and single pistons in the rear with ABS.
